Yep, it was bound to happen. I mean what else do we use the internet for…if not porn?
So here it is ladies and gentlemen…the first pornographic phrase used to find my webpage. I am excited because A) it’s pretty obvious considering my pages title and B) it’s pretty fucking nasty.
Without further babbling…
The first pr0n search was…
Drum roll please….
“women fucking donkeys”
Woot! I’m both disgusted and happy at the same time!
This past Sunday was a Taste of Diablo…a fundraiser that Diablo Valley College (where I went to culinary school) puts on to raise money for their culinary program. It’s a decently cool event…several restaurants and wine companys put together booths, the school sells baked goods, there is a band, a raffle, yada.
Not terribly exciting but since it is my school I help out when I can.
And since many of our employees came from that school, our restaurant always participates.
The Chef bought a 160 lb leg of Kobe beef to cook. He stuffed it with garlic, rubbed it down with peppercorns and oil, and let it sit for 4 days. He then laid down a 3 in layer of rock salt, mire poix, and encased the whole leg in a 2-3 in layer of rock salt.
12 hours in the oven and it was very very happy.
We loaded it into the bed of my truck…and I could smell it the whole drive over there…absolutely amazing.
When we got there we loaded it onto a table…and a pretty big crowd gathered. Everyone wanted to see what this giant mound of salt was.
He pulled out a hammer…cracked that baby open…and dear GOD was it amazing. So tender and juicy, so delicious. It was nearly a work of art.
Someone else took pictures…so I don’t have any to show right now…but trust me, it looks unreal.
Cow is soooo good. I could eat cow every day.
Well after working 14 days straight it was time to take care of some errands.
Note: I didn’t actually work 14 whole days. 2 of those days were “off”…but one involved going to 2 meetings (which took a couple hours), and another involved loading 160 lbs of Kobe beef into my truck and driving to DVC. So yes…I didn’t actually WORK all those days…but they all involved me going to work.
Anyway…
This is a time lapse movie I made of me driving around running a couple errands. You may note that I enter and leave 7-11 twice. That is because I left my wallet in the truck.
This was made using a Logitech Clicksmart 510 and their built in software. The original video, at 640×480 resolution, is 82.2 MB. That’s far too big for posting and downloading. So I used Windows Movie Maker to adjust it down to a more managable size (and add some graphics, neat). Oh yeah, it is 10x times faster than “reality”…which is subjective I suppose.
I set the camera on “low light boost” which I think washed out some of the colors. It is a bit overcast and windy, but clear and clean. Plus the window was a little dirty ;)
Anyway…enjoy the movie!
